A Judaica Gift Guide
The J&M Guide to
Bar & Bat Mitzvah Gifts
A keepsake for the doorway of every home to come.
Becoming a bar or bat mitzvah is the moment a child steps into Jewish adulthood — and a mezuzah is the gift that travels with them from that day forward. Onto a dorm room door. Onto a first apartment. Onto the entryway of a first home. At J&M Judaica, we believe the pieces that mark these doorways should feel as personal as the young adult carrying them.
Every mezuzah is handcrafted in small batches in Atlanta, poured in resin by Michelle and Julie. We design each one around a spark of who they are — the sport they love, the things they build, the games they play. Here are four of our favorites for this milestone.

the Milestone
I · For the Athlete
The One with the Sports
$54
For the kid whose weekends are spent on fields and courts. Tiny baseballs, basketballs, and footballs suspended in clear resin — a mezuzah that looks as at home on a bedroom door as it will on a future dorm room.

II · For the Builder
The One with the Legos
$54
For the young adult who has been building entire worlds since they could grip a brick. Real Lego pieces, bright and playful, preserved inside resin — a nod to their creativity and a reminder that everything meaningful is built piece by piece.

III · For the Gamer
The One for the Gamer
$54
For the one who is happiest mid-quest, headset on. A mezuzah designed around their world — so the door to the room where they game is also the door where tradition lives. Modern, playful, and unmistakably theirs.

IV · For Family Tradition
The One with the Mahjong Tiles
$54
For the kid whose favorite sound is tiles shuffling on a Sunday afternoon. A mezuzah set with real Mahjong tiles — a loving nod to the women at the table, the generations before, and the traditions being passed down alongside the Torah portion.
